Prototyping for Web

The goal was to design an e-commerce website for video games and associated merchandise. A key to the website’s success will be how users interact, browse and navigate.

The idea is to create an e-commerce website that sells video games and associated merchandise. In completing customer surveys evidence shows that people are no longer buying video games in-store and would rather purchase online. Surveys showed that the main benefit to shopping in-store shoppers’ experience is the ability to browse freely and easily. My goal is to make browsing and navigating easy for users.

Prototyping for Mobile

The brief was to design an app that is narrative-driven and uses geo-location. I chose to create a companion app for the wildlife park Moonlit Sanctuary to aid the park in fulfilling its obligations of educating visitors on ecology and conservation.

Functional prototype available at: https://www.figma.com/proto/V1UNe6ND1iP93o7d9JOJU7/Snap-Safari-Prototype?type=design&node-id=132-3181&t=r0DgPmNTTJgH7NRl-1&scaling=scale-down&page-id=0%3A1&starting-point-node-id=132%3A3181&show-proto-sidebar=1&mode=design

The app also needs to be enjoyable, accessible and profitable in order to make it beneficial for the park to implement. The app will provide multi language support so that is can be used by non-english speaking visitors.

The app will guide visitors to enclosures around the park in which visitors are required to take photographs of each. The photographs will be compiled into a photo album which visitors can either download for free or purchase from the gift shop. Education videos and information will be included throughout the app.
